Two tries from Lion number 562 Ryan Hall and one from Lion number 572 Josh Charnley were not enough to secure the win for England when they faced New Zealand in the 2014 Four Nations in Dunedin.
The Lions matched the Kiwis try for try but Shaun Johnson’s two conversions to first half tries by Jason Nightingale were enough to clinch a place in the final for the co-hosts.
Twelve years on, it’s great to see both Ryan and Josh are still at the top of their game in Super League with Leeds and Leigh.
