A cracking individual try by Lion number 489 Iestyn Harris was one of the highlights of an ultimately disappointing performance by Great Britain in their opening fixture of the 1999 Tri-Nations.
Harris worked his magic just before interval to put the Lions — playing as Great Britain and Ireland for the first time — in touch with Australia at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane.
Unfortunately the tourists were outplayed in the second half which saw the Kangaroos score four tries without reply to win by the record margin of 42-6.
